I just wanted to take this moment to tell you all how grateful I am for your following and support. It truly has been a wonderful year for me and I am taking extra time this week to appreciate my family, friends, clients, and you!
I am thankful that I am able to share my passion for health and wellness with each of you. And I am especially thankful for my personal health as it allows me to be happy, energetic, inspiring, and creative in my daily life.
Hopefully all of you are going to be spending some wonderful time with family and friends this week. Don’t worry or stress about what you are eating! Live in the moment of loving your family and friends and being thankful for the time you have together. If you put in a lot of veggies, drink some extra water, and hop of the couch to walk around the block (if you can stand to miss a bit of football), you will be doing ok for the day. Enjoy, connect, laugh, and love with all the beautiful people around you. Celebrate, relax, enjoy and above all, give thanks.
And for the “giving” in Thanksgiving – give others the gift of your centered presence. Be in the moment with your family and friends. Interact, listen, talk, hug, laugh, and enjoy. And remember, “It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving,” – Mother Theresa.
Your health journey in life cannot be completely upset by just one day. We are all on the journey to better health for the long run and will pick up where we left off on Friday. Right?!
Happy Thanksgiving to each of you.
PS. Ok. So some of you will want some healthy Turkey Day recipes and tips. My best advice, see above and go easy on the bad stuff. And I do have a delicious, healthy curried quinoa/pomegranate/cauliflower recipe posted on my FB page at www.facebook.com/betterhealthbyheather that you can check out.
